Repeated Symbols - How To Keep Track

Symbols, symbols, symbols. How many times have you dreamed of some object, place, or person, quickly googled the meaning, (It’s okay, we’ve all done it. Though your personal definition of a particular symbol in your dream hovers the target far closer than you think), and then promptly forgot about it as the waking life intervened?

One day long I ago I realized I was having a barrage of dreams about cars. I am a consistent journaler1 of dreams so I began to pay closer attention.

I created a spreadsheet. (I don’t use it all the time, but sometimes I’ll give it a couple weeks or maybe even a month of the most significant dreams I’m having.) I’ll separate the columns:
